Feeling Alone on My Birthday

at his age, quite honestly, should not be at home living off their parents! My sister has the same problem. She is giving him a notice to leave. He is allowed 60 days to vacate the premises. She could not make him leave without it, the police said. I don't know the laws there, but I encourage you to make him be a responsible adult that he is. Also, remove the computer and TV from his hands. It won't hurt nobody to go without it till he is gone. He more than likely to curse and have a temper tantrum. Don't fall for it! My oldest son stayed at my home for a few weeks, but didn't spend much time looking for a job, so I made him leave. He stayed at the shelter or at friends houses. He had to grow up regardless of that attitude. Since he is over 18, you can't make him go to school. Please don't put it off. I know it will only get harder to do, and in the meantime, he will get worse. There is a book that I love called "Boundaries". If you can find it at the library, you will never regret what you learn from that book! It made me a stronger mother. Good luck!

😥 Don't put yourself down so quickly! We all raise our children the best we know how! We all make mistakes. When my kids were young, they thought I was a mean mom! But now, they hug me and tell me that they are glad that they grew up the way they did. They didn't have much, but they understand that it was ultimately better to grow up without everything that they wanted. They appreciate what they have now. They used to destroy their own things because of carelessness! Not anymore! I am so glad that they all love me more since they have grown into men! I hope you have the same outcome for yourself!
