If your symptoms are severe and heavily impacting your day to day life I say go for it (with a really good neurosurgeon obviously). I had my decompression just over a year ago at Vanderbilt and it drastically helped me. It greatly reduced my headaches and neck pain and helped some of my other symptoms such as dizziness and ear ringing as well. I will say it is an intense surgery and also can be hard on you mentally which a lot of people don’t talk about but for me it was overall worth it!

Only if the symptoms are so bad u can’t deal with them. I say this because I started to get psychic abilities that grew stronger after each flair up or headache . The more pain you go through the stronger your powers become
It depends. I got decompression last year october at UCLA and my neurosurgeon messed up, so i have to get another surgery, but this time im going to UCSF
That's something that needs to be decided between you and a Dr. What are they saying?
