Who else has extreme trust issues while in a relationship and they carry on with each new person? if so, have you personally found a way to cope with these issues and let go of them?

Absolutely. I was in a relationship with someone with the same diagnoses of anxiety, depression, and ADHD. He also had ASD (autism spectrum disorder) which made communication almost impossible. We fed off of each other and the anxiety and depression became worse for the both of us. I needed someone to balance me out. So did he. It just wasn’t healthy. I worried a lot about his faithfulness and would try to talk to him about my obsessive thoughts and concerns. Never underestimate your instincts though. He would use my diagnosis to gaslight me into thinking I was crazy. I found out two years into our engagement that he had an affair a year before. NEVER doubt an instinctual feeling and always ask your friends and family for advice if you can. You don’t necessarily have to tell them it’s you needing the advice. Just nonchalantly bring it up and that your concerned for a friend. Don’t blame yourself. That’s the first thing we tend to do with OCD or ADHD. That can allow others to abuse you with your weaknesses once they see the lack of confidence and trust in yourself. Please learn from me.

Yes I do. Talking to my partner usually helps. Just telling them about how I feel and why I’m anxious about the relationship helps me sometimes.
