heyo! I have waves of severe chest pain, doctors and hospitals are lowkey not helpful at all and I've made my own decision it's due to anxiety manifesting in physical pain because I ignore it when it's mental pain oops but was wondering if anyone experiences the same thing and how they deal when it gets overwhelming and super painful! thanks 💕

A few years ago, I was having a pain kind of like what you’re explaining. I was really curious to figure out what was going on .. one day I was watching videos on TikTok. There is a person on here that I follow. That tells a lot of medical interesting facts. One day she was talking about this one thing that everybody thinks is heart attack related but isn’t. Maybe this is it what’s going on with you? https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/320105

I have the same thing. I get random severe chest pain near my heart/centre of my chest. I have anxiety as well but have had it for long enough to know that there isn't a correlation. Looking into pericarditis if that helps.

For me simply taking tylenol helps, but I only get bad chest pain after I've had a panic attack so maybe yours is too frequent for that to be healthy. If anxiety is causing it, treating your anxiety with meds and/or therapy should cure it aha

One person suggested taking deep breaths, listening to music, or watching funny YouTube videos to take their mind off the anxiety. Another person recommended using cold packs or heating pads on the chest to help with the pain and practicing deep breathing through the stomach while relaxing muscles as much as possible.
