I think you have to stop worrying about other people and start thinking about yourself. I have long-term covid and part of that is memory loss. I find it very difficult to deal with but I am no longer keeping it a secret I am just telling people when they ask me about something that happened 3 years ago I'm sorry I don't remember it's part of the covet I have memory loss.... People sometimes look at me crazy but then they start asking gentle questions usually and if they're not gentle questions I excuse myself from the conversation. But it's extremely hard to not remember certain things but I'm hoping that it will just become a new part of the life I'm living I hope the same for you but remember you're feelings are just as important as the other persons

Some people deal with memory loss by improving communication between alters, writing things down or texting them to a partner. Others suggest using switch trackers and daily journaling, or creating a chronological timeline of major life events for reference. Some also find strategy game apps helpful in rebuilding concentration and logic pathways. It's also recommended to remain calm and patient during brain fog episodes to avoid additional stress.
