I found out I have PCOS when I was having irregular periods. What helped me was taking birth control to regulate them. I was going like 5-6 months without having them, which can cause problems. Hello ladies, I'm new here, and I hope to get the feel of community because I'm so sad and anxious about my period too. I haven't seen mine for the past 4 months, going to 5 months. My gp asked me to do some tests and said that the results are normal and nothing wrong. But how is that possible, and I am not pregnant

I went thru the same and even worse for years. I finally found out I had endometriosis and fybroid tumors. After several failed fybroid removals and d&c's and ablasions I had a total hysterectomy at age 55 and problem solved.
