i feel so guilty when i miss school, but i know if i went it would be terrible for me. i woke up this morning feeling horribly anxious and i knew i was going to be in a crouded and chaotic area for most of the day. the guilt is almost as bad as the anxiety, at this point it's like "what's worse?"

      Same literally rn I feel so sick but thankfully I don’t have Covid lol but today and yesterday were MCAS( basically like the “final exams” in my state) days and I skipped it 🫤 I hate skipping school and when I do skip school because I need a mental break, I feel like I shouldn’t be skipping school cause me being exhausted mentally “isn’t a good enough excuse” , but after a while I learned that it’s ok to take breaks. Sometimes u just need to pause, breathe in breathe out, and keep going. This is one of the most stressful months of the school year (at least for me) cause of all the tests, homework, preparing for summer, it’s a lot. So if u ever need to pause, don’t feel bad about it. We’re all human and we all need our breaks from time to time. Much love <33

      I reason with my guilt. For example if I had left the house today I wouldn't have been able to function at my job or going grocery shopping ECT. I wouldn't have been able to speak to people in the manner I wish to. I wouldn't have been able to concentrate. I wouldn't have been able to regulate my emotions well. I hope this helps feel better!

      Hey it's ok I feel bad when I take mental health days too. But you deserve a day too relax.You can take days of yourself I hope staying home today helps you.
