Feeling Guilty for Taking Time to Rest

Today my fatigue has been keeping me in bed almost all day and I feel extremely guilty about it. I feel like I shouldn’t take time to recover from being active (yesterday). Does anybody feel like this too? What do you do about it?

I always feel like this! Today I had a lot to do but could barely get anything done because I couldn’t stay awake. But you know what? We ALL have off days. We work with whatever we can in the moment, right? When I feel down about it, I like to tell myself that I’m doing the best I can and that’s all I can and should be doing. Sometimes our bodies just don’t align with our minds and that’s okay! Don’t beat yourself up too much over it and know you’re not alone ❤️

i completely understand how you’re feeling, i always feel guilty for taking breaks even like now i have a sinus infection and i still feel guilty that i couldn’t watch my baby cousin for my aunt even though it’s out of my control. breaks are super necessary and you don’t have to have a perfect reason why every time either. im still working on it and its comforting to know someone feels the same way :-)

I feel you ✋ worked super hard yesterday and I'm dead today. Taking breaks is so important. What I try to do is change my thinking and make taking a break positive and fun. Not always easy lol but definetly attitude is everything
