Any tips on how to handle extreme rage? I could use all the help I can get right now.

If theres the possibility of stopping in the moment, making an excuse to leave the situation, and then later coming back to those feelings those could be ideal. Mindfulness, breathing. and meditation exercises can be really useful although maybe not sounding immediately appealing. You can also try journaling about your day afterwards, sometimes just using bullet points is good enough. Over time you can notice certain things bother you might bother you less, but maybe some things are specific to your medication

Prednisone is what gives me rage. Predisone is a medicine that has horrible side effects but it is something we have to take. I usually walk away from the situation for about 30 mins then go back with a better attitude.

it's taken me years of practice, but if you google the STOP skill in DBT therapy it basically makes you stop what you're doing then keep going with a more level head. It's hard for me to use skills unless I'm 10/10 angry so it does takes a lot of practice. If I know I'm going to get angry at someone in the future, I try to imagine me stopping and respond how I want to rather than out of pure anger. When I can tell other people are uncomfortable or my body feels different I know I need to step back from the situation and continue an hour later. Practice practice practice but you've got this!!!
