I had a severe case of covid 19 and was hospitalized. As a result I now have afid and type 2 diabetes (which I didn't have before covid) my question is: did you experience this and did these conditions ever go away or back to normal?

I was told, while in the hospital, that I was receiving insulin to counter act what the steroids were doing to my body. I also had "a cardiact" event that has left me with afib ( which, again, I had no problem with my heart before covid).
When I was hospitalized with covid, I heard there are many new diagnoses like this being made in the wards, but I think it's mostly accidental because of the medical exams and not due to the covid infection.
