I’ve heard mixed things about reinfection, but a lot of longhaulers on Reddit saw improvement of their long haul symptoms after getting reinfected. Some short lived and some are doing much better. It’s so all over the place.

My husband has had it twice within 5 months and it was very mold both time. But I got it 2 days later and ended up in the hospital. I've only had it once.

@skypilot302 how are you feeling now? I hope better, my husband had a mild case of COVID but for me it was worse, it felt like the flu on steroids , for 8 to 10 days. But we both had it once. It’s been 3 and a half months, but COVID left me with PTSD, I have stress and anxiety. It’s affected me, but I’m determined to beat it. Because the virus does cause a lot of inflammation in the body.

@MISHY covid left me with a heart condition and diabetes which I did not have either one before I got covid. I'm on medication for both and will need to stay on it for the rest of my life. It also effected my memory when talking. It's like I know the word I want to say but I can't remember it. I was hospitalized on day 9 and left 2 weeks later. My main problem was double pneumonia, diabetes caused by the steroids I was given for that and then I had a 'cardiac event'. They wanted to put me on a ventilater but I said no. I'm doing much better now. I do have to watch my oxygen level and my heart rate. I'm glad to hear you, too, are well now.
