Well, it's a collection of things that I have had to do to make my life more accommodating and accessable for myself, as well as informing the people I'm most frequently around to make sure they understand and understand how to help if they wish to do so! For me personally, it lies in communication and effort to accommodate!

@Viynnyie what kinda stuff do you inform the people you are around?

@KatieGB I tell people about my sensory issues weather it's sound, touch, or anything else. As well as what to do if I experience a meltdown or shutdown. I also tell them how my other conditions interact with my autism. And I always make it a point to say something when I'm uncomfortable

"Some ways that have been found helpful in coping with autism include keeping something consistent around, setting a routine for a specific daily activity, doing things you enjoy like gaming or watching shows, and finding something non-harmful that you can control. Other strategies include being honest about everything, even when talking to a doctor, having music playing while working, using a small fidget toy, and figuring out what makes you feel overwhelmed. Some people also find it beneficial to look back and examine their autistic traits, process and understand themselves better, go to therapy, journal, talk to folks with similar experiences, and work on accepting themselves."
