Have you ever had a close family member experience a health crisis (i.e. cancer, critical injury, chronic illness)? If so, how do you cope with it while also supporting them, as someone who has moderate to severe health anxiety?

I can honestly say this is one of the hardest things I have to deal with (from my own experience) My father and grandfather both passed from heart attacks. Their conditions have now become my conditions. Eventhough I've had my heart checked and pretty much every other organ checked in my body I still whole heartedly believe that any little symptom I have is a heart attack and I'm dying. My best advice for you, since I'm still learning as well, is therapy. I've been recently talking to my therapist about it and he says that there is a way to overcome it. It's not going to be easy but if you put the time and work into it, it will be worth it! Also talking to people who can relate seem to help me too. You can message me anytime. I'm so sorry you're going through this. š¤hugs and good vibes your way
