Therapy, EMDR really saved my life, there is this thing called a dammit doll where you hit it on stuff and yell dammit! Also writing and burning what you wrote, yell, deep breaths

I've found that therapy and meds work for me. I've thankfully found a great therapist that helps me work through a lot of my trauma. Journaling also helps a lot, and you can choose to share it or not. Talking things out and sharing work well for me. Light therapy can also do wonders. Just know you're not alone and don't have to suffer alone. ❤️

@oceaneyes8 What is light therapy? I don’t know if I’ve ever heard of that before. I write a lot of poetry & try to talk about it whenever I can. It’s just so difficult because I struggle with feeling alone so often. Thank you❤️❤️

@bumbling it's actually called EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). Not all therapists can or will do it. It uses a light bar with a moving light that goes back and forth. You recount the scenario while watching the light and it's like REM sleep and is supposed to help you process the emotions associated with it better

Let your anger out in a safe way My favourite is throwing ice cubes and watching them smash Maybe you can write angry letters and rip them up or burn them, just make sure to be careful with fire! You can always take deep breaths

@nniiccoolleeyy I’ve never thought about throwing ice cubes, that’s definitely something I’ll try. Thank you!!

One suggestion is to try journaling about your experiences and emotions, as it can help you process the anger and trauma. Another option is to practice mindfulness techniques, such as meditation or yoga, which can help you focus on the present moment and manage your emotions. Seeking professional help, like therapy, can also be beneficial in coping with PTSD-related anger.
