You may be experiencing symptoms of anxiety or panic attacks, which can include feeling shaky, having difficulty breathing, chest tightness, and a sensation similar to drowning. These symptoms can be very scary, but understanding them can make them less frightening. It's important to remember that these feelings are not indicative of any serious physical harm, even though they may feel intense. Techniques such as deep breathing, grounding yourself in your senses, and distracting yourself with a phone call or thinking of something funny can help manage these symptoms.
