Why is it so hard to talk to loved ones when I'm not okay especially my husband he doesn't understand what it's like to be at war with the one place you can never escape your own mind

      Sometimes but he struggles with mental health as well we're both on meds unfortunately a lot of people don't talk about men having mental health issues to because our society says men need to be tough all the time and it sucks

      When you have a mental health disorder, you might want to regularly remind them that you are fully capable of understanding logic and reasoning, but an anxiety disorder cannot be combated easily with logic and reason. Loved ones will try to hard to "fix" you with logic (cognitive therapy), it can only help to an extent.
