i don’t know if anyone will see this but I have been getting UTI for almost a year now and everytime I get rid of it somehow by drinking water it comes back like a month later or even days later. I’m tired of this no doctor can help. I tried yeast infection medicine, uti medicine from Walmart. Everything. Nothing works please help I just want my pain to go away l. I need to pee frequently but nothing comes out, I even have a tingly sensation when I’m done peeing. Please help. Note: It sometimes smells like a bad sour smell then goes away.

Forgot to add sorry, it just came to mind. some people are just more prone to UTIs due to hormones, or just in general. which sucks. im likely one of them (im a trans guy on hormones, and i have a history of UTI even before taking them) i also take CBD gummies to help keep me comfortable with my bladder pain, and it does help quite a bit with pee pain as well. i also wash myself with the detachable shower head in my bathroom every time i go, it gets annoying since sometimes its 3 times in 10 minutes but its to keep everything as clean as possible, i use just water after washing my hands after advisory from my PCP.. even unscented soap still hurt me 🥲. another thing i do is also change underwear if i feel moist, damp, or wet. i literally have gotten so overly conscious of everything that comes into contact with that area i just have to make sure nothing can cause it, but alas i am cursed with monthly UTIs 🥲

hits right to home, i have had UTIs every single month for the past year and a half, coming up almost 2 full years now. i also experienced everything you listed! but, in march of this year, i started experiencing excruciating bladder pain which never happened before which ended in a diagnosis of interstitial cystitis (not saying this could be happening to you, this is just me due to bladder pain) but going to the doctors & urgent care every month, i learned quite a bit… - stress can actually weaken the immune system, so UTI can happen more frequently. - penetrative masturbation / sex for people with vaginas can have a much higher chance of UTI even after peeing! i was told to pee after around 10 minutes after PIV sex instead of going right after. people with penises also have a chance of UTI for anal sex and also should do the same 10 minute rule. - cranberry juice is a myth! water is the best option for UTI. if you havent already, you should see your primary care doctor about this issue. having UTI so frequently is not normal! they may have options to help with keeping you more comfortable or find out the issue causing it. i have been given so many antibiotics, but one thing that has worked for me consistently is pyridium / phenazopyridine. helps so much with the pee pain. i hope this helped at least a bit, im so sorry you have to go through this as well. i wouldnt wish it on anyone. i hope you can find something that helps you soon
