@LauraLee Sounds like me... 2 months ago I started making changes. 1 at a time. Have had so many health issues it's not even funny. Including being on steroids, heart issues, diabetes, 2 autoimmune diseases. Overweight, severe neuropathy in my feet. I realized I was sick and tired of being sick and tired and depressed. So I began to own my body and health. 1 change at a time. Went off over 10 meds in 2 weeks, changed my eating listening to what it needed. Started getting more steps in the day. I was housebound and bedridden most the time for years. There is hope LauraLee don't give up. The 1rst thing was realizing no doctor is gonna help my health and get to the cause of my illnesses.

Yes and it’s not fun but I try carry on . Some days I can pull it off but mostly I am struggling to keep myself positive and push through chronic pain. I feel like everything I touch just turns to crap. So, I really get excited if I have even a tiny victory over this medical saga that my life is. It makes me sad, mad, super frustrated and I hate it. I try so hard to move forward and get a little light at the end of the tunnel. Currently, I’m seeing a new doc. So hope that perhaps I will get to the bottom of the pain and get a bit of relief. It just isn’t how I thought I’d be at 50 years old. Living as disabled and accepting the way my life today is a constant battle. Hope is what I cling to. And I use the tools my psychologist/psychiatrist have giving to me in therapy to manage depression and anxiety. However, it is a slow process healing body, mind & spirit. I just keep trying. It’s just hard. It has been a long 6 years since this all began. I won’t give up and let any of my medical conditions win. It’s just so exhausting.

@LauraLee Weight loss is 75% diet and only 25% exercise. I've been losing weight for 3 months, 9 lbs a month, and have done zero exercise. I am pre-diabetic, also have arthritis, and an undiagnosed joint condition that causes me a lot of pain. I highly recommend a vegan and gluten free diet to kick start the weight loss!

@Sunflower.System Vegan & gluten-free? Now I never tried that. I've done low carbs, all protein & no sugar, I've tried fasting.. shakes, pills.. but this sounds really encouraging so thank you!
