Dont really know what I'm.going to get out of this bit if anyone can give me a bit of incentive to lose some weight and get my diabetes and arthritis under control I'm up for it! I've recently made a big change in my life after working in retail for 24 years, have just changed jobs to something totally different!

A big change is stressful, even if it's something exciting. As we all know, stress can make us eat more than usual. Be kind to yourself! I'm diabetic with multiple issues that cause pain and neuropathy. I have trouble losing weight as well, mainly because exercising is too painful. Making small changes, 1-2 at a time, to eating habits has helped me stick with them. I have noticed a huge difference in how I feel when I pay close attention to how many carbs I eat. My go-to late night snack is chips. So, I buy carrots, cucumbers, and bell peppers instead. They give me the crunch and sweetness I crave and eliminate the extra carbs and starch from my diet. Look for healthy alternatives to your favorite foods. Something that will give you a similar feeling of satisfaction. You've got this!

Think of what the effects will be if you eat terrible. 🤗

What did you do when you were in retail? I've been doing it off and on for almost 40 years, and I'm done! It's the customers that ruin it for you.
