My entire life I never was able to ménage the thought that I would be diabetic for the rest of my life. I am 28 . I feel I am very old and I do not know how I can continue living this life while I am diabetic.

I am a diabetic. I take 2 pills a day. I don't like it at all. I don't eat candy or sweets. Well once in a blue moon I do. But I drink dr pepper all day. There r times I do drink water. My sugar stays good

I hear you. I'm going on 47 years. I have always thought that diabetes is no big deal but not lately. I'm just tired. Tired of lows, highs, etc. I just want to be in-diabetic.

I also have MS & I’d still say that the diabetes takes FAR more effort to live with than the MS. It’s just a tough disease to live with and I applaud every one of us for doing the best we can!

Yes, very much so! I’ve struggled terribly lately with SO many lows and just can’t take it sometimes. I yearn for just one day of “freedom” untied to the constancy of diabetes-the zillions of variables that occur, the constant fluctuations in readings, the measuring & accounting. I’m fucking exhausted frankly & the thought of me at 75-80 still treating lows is terrifying (I’m 47).

Me. I hate being a diabetic. I can't eat what I want. I have to watch the sugar intake
