hi. had an minor accident 10 years ago. my back never been the same since. sciatica and back kill me at night too. doctors not helping. MRI apparently doesn't show anything besides the fact that I'm getting older but not old enough to be treated for my pain. they said I have to live with it for the rest of my life. but I can't work, I can't sleep properly. I can't stand up for too long, I can't stay sit down for too long or even walk. medicines don't really help me. I don't know how I can live for the rest of my life like this. any suggestions?

One user suggested finding a doctor who will advocate for you, as insurance companies seem to get things done faster once a doctor is in their ears. Another user recommended getting an MRI, as symptoms similar to yours could be due to a herniated disc which could cause permanent damage if it is pressing on the spinal roots. However, these are suggestions from other users and not professional medical advice.
