Can't Write Despite Being Able to Explain - Help!

is this familiar to anyone? We an have long, detailed conversations, often using methapors and other methods to describe what we're thinking. We can explain creativity based things (like stories, locations, people, emotions) and logic/ information (like disorders, lore, science). But as soon as its writing or typing, we cant do anything. We can explain the subject and still not be able to write it. Handwriting and typing have no difference. Its not a trauma response as we've had this problem ever since we've been taught writing, the anxiety and freezing is caused by how we've been treated because of it. Please, answer if you know what it is.

I don't know what it is but I have something similar, I can explain like task in the most wierd way ,but it makes so much sense to me and for a select few. But when I try and message it to some one or write it out it's so hard or so terrible sounding that I give up or change the topic.

Okay so I have the same traits and so I looked at your profile and would recommend learning about dyspraxia and seeing if that what is behind this. Im not 100% sure as this if the only dyspraxic trait mentioned but its a start. Its a learning disability commonly paired with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and others. Struggling with translating thought into text is a symptom but dyspraxia usually comes with more than that. Its a really interesting disorder as it has a super wide spectrum of how it can impact a person but common things that can appear are a speech disorder, inability to properly coordinate body movements, struggles to coordinate tasks and do them in order, and struggles learning body movements in childhood. I hope this is helpful and if its not dyspraxia atleast you know to check it off the list. (Also trauma and general poor treatment from others regarding the symptoms can further exasperate the issue as anxiety turns up the dial on my dyspraxia personally)
