I'm new hear I was diagnosed with pcos when I was a teenager it's been a struggle to keep a healthy weight or have kids in the past. my real question is is anyone here birth control dependent because of non stop periods I had my period for almost 4 months straight and all they wanted to do was put me on birth control to stop it now I don't get any and I feel like the Mirena IUD has caused some extra weight gain. I would love to eventually get off birth control and get my weight to a healthy one to one day have a baby of my own. does anyone have any tips or has been through a similar issue? thank you
