Taste buds not working for soft drinks

I haven’t noticed this, but I’ve only been on it for a week. My doctor said when she tried it for migraines topamax changed the taste of drinks in metal cans

I noticed a change in some foods, but soft drinks were not affected. Lemonade is super sour no matter how much sugar it has however.

It did effect my taste buds. I feel I've forever used to it. Mostly it screws with my memory
