Topamax: Good or Bad?

Topamax has helped my migraines tremendously. Some things taste a little funny, sometimes I can't find my words... but I'll take that over migraines that last for 6 months 🤷🏼

I did not like Topamax overall. For me, it initially cut down the severity and frequency of my migraines however after a few weeks of taking it caused major brain fog and memory loss. I could not remember names of people I knew or where I knew them from.

I have been on it since the end of November and have no problems at all. And I always have reactions/side effects to meds,but not to these. But everyone's bodies' react differently to meds,so don't let the "possible" side effects scare you! It's worth a shot! Good Luck💕

I tried Topamax and it made me feel very foggy. I have been using trokendi xr instead

It didn't just cause weight loss for me, I was on it for like a month or two and in that time I dropped 30lbs I did NOT have to spare

For me it caused major major brain fog and I started convulsing in my sleep as told to me by my husband and family.
