what alternative medications are out there an work as well as quetipine, I'm on a very high dosage of slow an fast release[ 600mg ] , but I am concerned about my overall health of my heart in the future , has anyone with bipolar experimented with just sleep aids, with out mood stabilisers ? can you do that with long term behaviour therapy? because it's only when I'm not sleeping my bipolar gets really really bad, but with routine , diet , exercise 4 -5 times a week after work it's more manageable.

I take lamictal (mood stabilizer) for my bipolar and it works pretty well. I also take zyprexa at night to aid my sleep so I don't stay in a manic state and stay awake

Some individuals have mentioned using Lithium, Lamotrigine, Abilify, Invega, and Caplyta as alternatives for managing bipolar disorder. However, the effectiveness of these medications can vary from person to person. It's also been suggested that maintaining a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise, a balanced diet, and consistent sleep patterns can help manage symptoms. Some people also find therapy and mindfulness practices helpful. However, it's important to discuss any changes in medication or treatment approach with a healthcare provider.
