it is not a mood stabilizer though. you have to be good with grounding techniques, healthy lifestyles and stuff even though i know everyone with bipolar is so sick of hearing that! meditation is helpful and drawing and crafting helps even better for me!

it is technically an anti psychotic - but those words are a lot less scary to me now after starting it
I’m taking seroquel- there are minimal side effects, helps with sleep and anxiety, no drug interactions including most recreational things, and i can choose to take it when i want and nothing bad will happen if i miss a dose. i can take it at night (1 or two pills) or one in the morning if i’m feeling anxious. i like it a lot so far and it’s not so scary after being medicated with lots of intense drugs. plus the pills i have are cute and small and pink!

I take so many medications I’m done with it. I would love to be able to stop taking them.
How did you do it? I want to not take medication so badly.
@Jay_Jay you can taper it off with the supervision of a doctor. Family doctors will do that
