Age Regression as a Coping Mechanism for CFS and Fibro

Does anyone else age regress to cope with CFS and/or Fibro? If so how do you feel about it? I'm really struggling to accept it and keep trying to go against it but nothing works.

I have sle and kind of? I have to be very childlike in the way I live to have any kind of happiness as I’m so trapped and rely so much on other people and basically have to relearn how to live so I kind of accept that I’m back to toddler age in life progress and so regress in that way, like finding happiness in colouring when I can and dinosaur cookies lol and eating how babies are trained to eat as I have to relearn how to eat and it just makes being sick less depressing for me to kind of pretend I’m just a kid instead
