How do you cope with aging?

It seems like I also have bouts of age regression. I've wondered if it's some kind of coping because if my behavior leads to a negative reaction, I very quickly become really sad or distressed, sometimes to the point of crying. But normal days I use music or on warm days bike riding or weeding/gardening

I write or sing to cope I used to self harm thankfully I stopped but I still have a habit of scratching my arms as if they itch
