I have a question for fellow autistic people. I have an adjustable colour changing light in my room and I can change the brightness and I've noticed that sometimes the same level of brightness and stuff is sometimes too dark and sometimes too bright and I was wondering if anybody else can relate? idk if my exhaustion has anything to do with increased light sensitivity or not šŸ˜….

I have the same item or at least same type. I change it regularly for what my needs are but yes they are always changing. Fortunately anyone else in the house can see the patterns of the light color/intensity and my state of being

I totally relate! Sometimes the brightness is way too bright and then other times it hits me just how dark it is and itā€™s the same level. Our brains handle the same stimuli differently depending on a lot of factors including if weā€™re overstimulated, in pain, mood, etc.
