Dealing with Tics and TMJ from Stress

ive been super stressed lately so ive been ticcing a lot & i think i gave myself TMJ, its on my left side jaw. it makes the nastiest grinding noise when i have certain mouth tics & i developed a clench tic on top of it which makes it worse 💀 any tips is 👍 trying to get back into therapy too

I would definitely see your PCP about your TMJ if you have one. Mine ordered physical therapy for me and it helped a lot (and my state insurance paid for it). I'm pretty sure my TMJ was also due to stress. It went away on its own about three months later.
