For me I don’t have much of a choice. I can’t bear the thought of my child coming into the room and begging me to wake up like I did with my mom. Other things help like having a journal next to your bed to write three things you’re grateful for and three things you’re looking forward to. It can be little things like “I’m grateful for the feeling of sunshine on my face” or if you’re more like me “I’m grateful for the cool rain on my skin” and for the things you’re looking forward to it can again be small things like “I’m looking forward to the overnight oatmeal in the fridge” or even “I’m looking forward to feel the comfort of my bed at the end of the day” Hope this helps!
