i very often (even now) get into these episodes where i dont want to do much cleaning or anything for my hygiene but am still able to do things like gaming. i feel like im just being lazy and not actually depressed.

I don't believe in lazy but I do believe In unmotivated and what is that stems from that . That's for you to explore . I encourage you not to call yourself lazy and to look deeper then that . Give yourself some grace and understanding . You do deserve better from yourself. Go easy on yourself . What ever struggles you are going through are valid always .
