tips for motivation? i havent been in the best mood lately and now my room is dirty and i have no clean clothes and i havent showered or taken care of myself in like almost 2 weeks. i feel gross and ive just stopped caring again. i keep trying to force myself to clean up a little but i just sit there and do nothing. my mom is starting to get really mad at me because i havent been helpful and she says i look gross so i need to get over it and start cleaning everything up. i just dont know how to motivate myself to get started.

I can definitely empathize! I've been right where you are lately. To be honest the thing that helped me most right now was having a good support system and trying to do the things I loved most first. Another huge change that helped me get out of my rut was getting on a new medication, but everyones situation is different. Start with the small things that you can't avoid. If your mom will listen, help her understand what you are going through. Sometimes the people who love you don't always know the best way to go about it, but they are usually always willing to help.
