Ive been experiencing pain in the bones of my feet, legs, and hip randomly for as long as I can remember. It comes on usually after days of high activity, when it’s cold, or for seemingly no reason at all. It’s an intense aching in the bones, usually in the arches of my feet and shins. Over time it will lead me to limping severely to walk as pressure makes it worse. Heat helps and otc pain meds do the trick, but it’s been an ongoing issue through my entire life and I’ve never gotten any answers. Does anyone have a similar experience?

Ugh yep! You described my pain to a tee! I thought it was fibromyalgia but now I’m thinking it’s related to a deformity in my spine. I had ketamine treatment and it pretty much fixed my pain! I’d highly recommend trying it. It is expensive though

Ive always had pains like this, I've found that arch support can make a huge difference but I don't know if that would help everyone. And lots of epsom salt baths
That’s really disheartening to hear from a doc. Have any of your docs done X-ray, MRI, or CT to see if there is inflammation or old injury? I would definitely recommend getting some referrals to specialist to try and get help to figure out what is going on so you can hopefully manage better. If you haven’t already I would ask your primary care to run test for autoimmune conditions, rheumatoid factors, and hormone function to see if you can either rule out those or find a lead to work to get answers. I looked at your “conditions” on your profile and only saw POTS, but are there any conditions you have a suspicion about that could give you more of a lead or what diagnostic tests to ask for? I ask that because I have psoriasis and arthritis but came back negative for other autoimmune and rheumatoid arthritis so it points to psoriatic arthritis and cold really flares me (common with psoriatic arthritis) but I know a lot of others with different types of arthritis find ice or cold helpful. With heat I may feel like I’m about to pass out when POTs is flaring but my arthritis feels soooo much better so trying to acclimate to heat instead of avoiding it drastically helps me. Not saying that’s the same for you, but rather sharing to try to help you think about your own body.
sounds like it's a musculoskeletal problem, probably fibromyalgia if it's so closely related to your temperature. have you seen a neurologist or rheumatologist?
Have you seen a doctor about this? If so, what have they said?
