Chronic Joint Pain: Seeking Advice

I have been having joint pain since I have been young. Recently I have been going to the Dr getting all sorts of blood tests. They cannot figure out what is wrong with me. I do not have any sort of arthritis (I have seen a rheumatologist for this) I have tried steroids to lessen the pain (did not work) The pain is always worse when it is cold out or after more activity. Pain is mostly in my ankles. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what could be wrong? Thanks!

I’m in the exact same boat! I’ve resorted to mobility aides and compression sleeves, braces, etc to help manage my issues. It’s my only relief bc doctors don’t want to look any further

Have you looked into Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, fibromyalgia, or any Autoimmune disorders such as hashimoto's? My joint pain started when I was around 8 or 10 and was mostly in my ankles. It is still mostly in my ankles and knees and have since been diagnosed with all three mentioned.

for me, EDS is the only thing we haven’t explicitly told the doctor that I think I have it and then looked for it specifically. When I saw the rheumatologist, she said that I had hyper mobile joints and diagnosed me with AMP

i have been tested for all autoimmune disorders. Going back again to be tested for the scl-70 blood test, a c3 and c4 workup and celiac disease blood test as well. Fingers crossed I get an answer.
