I was wondering, are my symptoms related to my condition (ASD) or are there symptoms I have that may interfere with this condition and relate to something else? Any advice is appreciated because I am unable to get professional help. Symptoms I relate to and experience on a constant day to day basis are: sensory issues when it comes to eating and textures, as well as things I feel with my hands or on my body making me extremely uncomfortable and send me into a state of uncontrollable panic. I do not understand what people mean a lot of the time, it takes me a really long time to realize what people mean and sometimes I have to look up the definitions of terms used. I just take things really literal and serious and cannot tell when people are sarcastic or joking. I also have troubles when it comes to learning, like not being able to properly understand information (especially topics like math and history). I also have a horrible attention span, I get distracted really easily and its always been hard for me to stay on task. I also dont have a good memory, I cant really remember too much before the age of 14. I am really bad in social situations and am an extremely introverted person who struggles to talk to people I dont know and sometimes I even go nonverbal, and just completely unable to talk. I dont want to make this any longer than it is, but advice would be greatly appreciated! and if you want to know anything else when it comes to symptoms feel free to ask anything.

I have aspbergers and adhd and yes, I have all these symptoms. I would talk to ur doctor about adhd, and see if they think u fall into that category. For me, the symptoms we have both experienced, were helped a lot by taking the right medication. You have to be patient and willing to feel out what's best for u, but the right meds can change ur life. For me, adhd meds allowed me to read and write better, work harder, not get distracted, remember things, etc. Which ended up giving me more confidence in general. This helped socially too. I used to never speak up in class, but after getting meds, I would say I am one of the people that share their opinion the most. Now, normal, personal one on one social interactions are still stressful, but this just comes with the disorder. There are some symptoms you can help, and there are some you cannot. Let meds help what they can, if you can afford them. Just know you aren't alone I promise.

Yes this is all from autism. They are common traits and can also be a combination from other traits like ADHD for example.
