      I’m in the same boat! Every time I visit doctor about it get very little help or support. Trying take things slower after doing online research now rather than visit the GP

        @YorkshireGirl Unfortunately, this is how I learned too. I feel like very few doctors know the full extent of PCOS and just try to bandaid it. That's just my personal experience though.

      Is there anything besides metformin that can help? That medicine makes me really sick.

        @Usurpedorchid do you take the slow release one, or the one that needs to be taken twice a day? I was orginally on the twice a day one, and it made me feel awful, my doctor switched me to Sukkarto SR, and I don't have any side effects.

          @tinofspam I tried the slow release for about six months. I heard that they can be harsh at first and lessen once your body gets used to them but I never really saw a change. 😔

      It is really hard for sure. My doctor put me on a super low dose of Metformin which has helped some. I’m not diabetic but people with PCOS are usually insulin resistant.
