hello. I am a 23 female and had a hard time losing weight. I have PCOS and the remedies that my Doctors always told me to lose weight. the thing is I haven't had drastic weight change for about 10 years maybe differ 2 to 5 pounds. I was about 3 miles three times a week, still no weight lost and abnormal periods. I'm really just at a dead end right now

@Jujubean99 I get it I was the first to be diagnosed with PCOS in my family. I’m sorry you are dealing with this on your own. Have you told your friends about what your struggling with? I was surprised to learn a few of my friends also had PCOS. Because it can be hard to loose weight with PCOS I decided to add focus to other successes. Not limited to but including Mental health, improving my blood test scores, and learning about foods that might help with symptoms.

I’m sorry you are feeling that way. PCOS is such a big thing and impacts every aspect of our lives. I think it is great that you get outside and walk 3miles. I know for me not getting enough vitamin D is a big struggle. Maybe for a time focus on a different goal like what foods make your body feel good? If you want we can commiserate about our PCOS struggles and share successes.

@Megz thank you. A lot of the women in my family have PCOS but it's not a open communication with the family. The only one is my mom and she had a hysterectomy so she can't really relate. I would love to hear other successes because I have kinda been dealing with this on my own since I started my period and I'm still so lost myself
