I’m really bad at making friends, my therapists recommended I look for some groups or meet ups that are geared towards my interests like board games or book club or something like that I guess! But I haven’t done that yet I have a long term relationship with my boyfriend. That started because we worked together really late would hangout/talk afterwards and it evolved into a romantic relationship. Something that made me feel less lonely was joining a bunch of autism Facebook groups like ones with adults that are actually autistic. There’s specially LGBTQ ones or late diagnosed or women only ones.

I can make friends but have 0 romantic skills so that doesn’t work. Just find other ppl with the same interests and take your time. Creating relationships doesn’t have a deadline.

I, however, don’t know how to make friends, especially now that I’m in college it just doesn’t make sense

Depending on the types of relationships you mean, some have always come easy to me. I have no clue how to make friends but I watched so many romcoms when I was young that I just heavily mimicked those. I still do have problems but I think it also helps to have someone who you can ask questions about this type of stuff and you feel comfortable doing so. My boyfriend is neurotypical and it helps to ask him questions as these things come naturally to him
