i want to start this off by saying that this post will probably be pretty long but i'm very grateful for anyone who reads and responds to this post. a few weeks ago i had attempted to post this on a fb group but for some reason, it wasn't accepted by admins to post. i'm going to try to remember as much as i can but it will probably be pretty difficult. lately, i've been questioning some of my symptoms that are definitely on the list of fibro symptoms. the main thing i've been wondering about is; -lower back/pelvic area pain on both sides. i would describe it as muscle pain that hurts more when i move and/or stretch. however, this lower back pain spread. it started in the lower back/pelvic area, went about mid back, shoulder blades, shoulders, arms, neck, and now base of skull. i also have the same pain in my ankles and wrists. as i said above it seems muscle related but everywhere i have this pain, throughout the day i have this feeling that i NEED to stretch for relief. only for it to not do much besides cause intense pain for a few seconds causing me to hold my breath from time to time. i guess you could in a way say it's almost like restless leg syndrome but in all the areas i listed. however, a few weeks ago i noticed that though the pain is on both sides, it is definitely without a doubt worse on the left side. worse on the left in each area listed. i did go to my doctor about the ankle and wrist pain as those (at the time) were bothering me most and she pretty much just said it's "tendinitis and fibro related". she referred me to the chronic pain clinic but everytime i call it's straight to voicemail. it's unbelievably hard to get ahold of them. but i took that as an answer and went on my way but i'm starting to think it is not just that. so i guess my question would be, when do i know it may be time to contact my doctor again? and if i do, how would i explain all of this without sounding like i'm over exaggerating?

Have you been referred to a rheumatologist and endocrinologist? That’s who helped me get the proper diagnosis

Physical therapy was like torture for me! So be careful with that! I would definitely see a doctor! Don't be afraid to ask questions!
It definitely sounds fibromyalgia related.. my left side of my body is also worse than my right most of the time. I would still contact your doctor and just explain to them like you did in the post.. my doctor has put in a prior authorization for them to pay for aerobics therapy and massages.. ask about that and maybe it will help.
I resisted what I'm about to tell you for a long time, but just started going to a chiropractor (I have a lot of the same back, pelvic and neck/shoulder issues that you described). If only for an evaluation, just see what they have to say. I signed up for a treatment plan bc this chiropractor explained everyone me so well. Yoga, also. 🙏🏼

I have the same thing! Your doctor is probably right about it being related to tendonitis and fibromyalgia double teaming you. Find a pain management clinic that doesn't require a referral or ask your doctor for a referral to a new one because it's unacceptable for them to be that difficult to reach
I literally have this exact pain. I'm working through it with my Dr but so far the only thing that gives even a smidge of relief is robaxin
I would definitely reach out to a doctor. Do you take a magnesium supplement by chance? Magnesium helps muscles. I understand your worries about expressing what is going on because I’ve seen plenty of bad doctors, but a good doctor should listen and validate you.
@ChronicLV i'm not currently on magnesium supplements but that's mostly due to hearing that some magnesium supplements can affect fibro negatively and i'm not sure which is recommended!
