I can't get over all the pain that I'm in and it's just hard for me to believe it's all from fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed probably 20 years ago but I really didn't start having true pain I'd be uncomfortable and stuff but true pain to the last few years and a friend of mine keeps telling me it's the fibromyalgia it's the fibromyalgia so I've got a lot of research to do. any advice or information would be greatly appreciated

@HattieMae I do understand not only am I dealing with a fiber or myalgia I have chronic pain in my lower back for the last well since I was 27 and I'm 60 I have two torn rotator cuffs and a new knee replacement I fell on 7 weeks post-op so I'm fixing to have surgery on one of the shoulders then they'll have to do the other and then they'll have to fix the knee and then I have to have a herniated disc in my back and a herniated disc in my neck fixed so if I could get everything fixed that can be fixed I might be able to handle the other pain but right now I'm so overwhelmed with buying sometimes I wish I wasn't even here

I have been diagnosed recently with fibro and, since the diagnosis (approx a year and half ago), my pain is getting worse, despite all the medications I am taking. I have been tested for RA and Lupus and the results are clear (blood tests) and I had a MRI scan done to investigate possible spondylitis, and it was clear as well. I have seen 2 different rheuma specialists in 2 different countries (I am from Italy) and both said it is Fibro. Atm, I am experiencing mobility problems with my right arm because of the pain, plus malaise and joint ache in my feet, my knees, my ankles, and wrists. I have an app at the end of the month with the pharmacist to have my pain meds reviewed again. I am exhausted.

I was diagnosed in 1999. They always said that was my pain. I finally got my PCP to refer me to a Rheumatologist in 2016 because I told her my pain didn't feel like it was just the fibro. That's when I got my RA diagnosis. She started treating me with Hydroxycloroquine and prednisone and I was amazed! The foot pain that caused me to spend $ 1000s on shoes was gone!
