I am photosensitive and sensitive to pretty much every sense except for touch for at least migraines. I never really got tested so I'm not sure if it's migraines or something else but migraines run in my family. Then again my migraines don't seem like how the rest of my family experiences them. I get them more often than everyone else does and for a shorter amount of time. It also makes me feel like I'm going to pass out or actually pass out.

I am an epileptic. I have mostly partial complex seizures, but occasionally focal ones. I was told that one in every 24 people are actually epileptic, whether they ever get diagnosed or not.

Grand Mal seizures....so much pain! In November I had a seizure that broke my nose, gave me a concussion, and made me lose a lot of bl00d :/ my roommates said it looked like a crime scene

Partial tonic-clonic myclonic seizures here, mostly have them in clusters while I sleep now

I do. Not sure if it's a specific kind, but all I know is that I have tonic clonic seizures. It sucks, but I manage

I think it’s hard having juvenile myoclonic and photo sensitive epilepsy because people label you as weak and incompetent. Also, I’m 20 so all my friends are either going out clubbing or going somewhere with flashing lights so I often feel left out. I get embarrassed that I have epilepsy so I never tell anyone because I don’t want them to view me differently

          493d

@Beckboop I’m sensitive to the shapes of light and how fast they’re moving and the brightness

@Blue001 I'm curious what myoclonic epilepsy is. I've never really learned about it before.

          494d

@Pero I feel like epilepsy isn’t really talked about much which makes people not aware. Also, I don’t know anyone else who has epilepsy but me in my life xx
