I am going through a really bad flare up in my wrist. I'm on Enbrel and my doctor had me on a strong dose of Prednisone. Did not help at all! I can't sleep or do menial tasks. Is there anything else that I can do for this terrible pain?

its the compound in turmeric. Available in a capsule. I got mine from Amazon. Many choices but not all created equal. The ones with Bioperine will help absorbtion , but some add fillers. Sam's/costco has some but not sure of quality.

I tried methotrexate and it did nothing. Now I’m back to Hydroxychloroquine. With CVID I can’t take the other meds.

Have you ever asked them about Diclofenac? It’s freaking amazing. It’s the oral/ pill form of Voltaren. And it is life changing for those of us with severe and evil RA lol!!

@Katiekins how long have u had RA? I'm going in on the 7th to start my treatment plan and I haven't been on anything in years. I've had RA for twenty years now. So far ur comment about Diclofenac has got me intrigued and ready to try! Lol

How long have you been taking the strong dose of Prednisone? In my experience it can sometimes take up to 5 days to really kick in. In the meantime ice and heat.

I’m all about ice! I am also high doses of prednisone and find that I am hot all the time!!! Icing helps me the most!

I would try heat. Heat helps my pain.

I wear compression gloves that cover the hands and wrists. These help tremendously for the awful pain. Alternating ice and heat helps as well. So sorry you're suffering. 😥

Ice and heat. I’m so sorry you are suffering like this. I try to find a way to forget it like bad TV, movies, videos, music. If you live near a pool or tub water therapy helps. Finally CBD whether ingested or topically might give some relief. My best to you. 💓

@Sexycop thank you! I've tried cbd oil. It didn't work for me, but I will try putting ice on it. I appreciate the advice. Have a great day. 🤗

@Ilovebooks my niece is in the medical marijuana biz and swears by oral and topical CBD but the good stuff not walgreens. 😳 I about to find some!
