I've had a chronic migraine for a couple years now. There isn't much to help me at home besides not exerting myself, avoiding screens, and drinking coffee when it's bad. I had to see a neurologist to get medicated. I think my headache might be caused by undiagnosed POTS, so if you're suspicious that you may have something else, you can check if there is a migraine symptom and try relief methods for that disorder. While you wait for a specialist, you can take some OTC at the advisory of a GP. You don't want to take to much because you can destroy your stomache to the point you're unable to eat (from experience).
