Help! Chronic Headaches are ruining my life!

I have Chronic Headaches, sometimes to where even closing my eyes or taking a nap will not help. I just want to lay down and cry how bad my headaches get, I need help, asprins, ibuprofen, Aleve, they all don't work. I need help

      I have migraines that sound like that. I get aura as well. They put me on Emgality. Life changing.

      How often do you get them? Do you have sensitivity to light, smells, or sounds? Definitely see a doctor because if it’s 4+ times a month they’ll be able to prescribe something. It sounds more like a migraine

        @HoosRVA I also get unbearable headaches. So much so I end up crying and puking. And if course both crying and puking make it worse. I’ve been to the Dr. many times trying to figure out the cause. I was referred to a neurologist and found out I had cerebellar tonsillar ectopia. But only on one side which they then ruled a “brain anomaly”. Evidently I’ve had it since I was in the womb. That said, it wasn’t the cause of my headaches. I’ve had lots of significant head trauma and I personally believe the scarring in the brain on top of other potential factors play a part.

        @HoosRVA a bit of a sensitivity to light, my eyes hurt and sometimes get black spots in them

          @Dee99 that definitely sounds like a migraine if you’re sensitive to light and you’re seeing spots. You’ll want to see a doctor because over the counter products won’t help
