@Chester I do the same to distract my brain from the triggers and storm from that day.

I play on the Xbox, I know it's not for everyone, I'm in therapy right now, but it's only just started, I have a great MH team behind, but it's going to be a very long road

I have an anxiety pill to help with the spiraling, and I practice mindfulness and meditation. It's not much, but when my supports are not available at least it's something. I also concentrate on my service dog. She's great at reducing tension.

My advice would be to in the short term, reach out to someone you trust and let them know you are spiraling. In the long term maybe get with a therapist who can help you come up with a tool box of coping skills that are positive. Speaking as a PTSDer who has alway resorting to negative coping skills it never works out good! Even reaching out for help on this forum is a positive coping skill! I’m proud of you for doing that. I hope you feel better soon!

@Littlegirlblue Thank you I have the drs today and mental health nurse on the 20th. The person I trust is hard to gey hold of due to his work schedule at the moment.

@Titch2002 I’m sorry! But glad you’ll be meeting with someone today! I’m always here too! If you need to vent!
