I always felt alone as young as 10. As if I lived in a separate world to those around me. I didn’t understand they couldn’t see what I saw, heard, felt, processed… It slowly crept on me year by year and my parents never knew understood I needed help. But by 25 I did. I got my official diagnosis for some the things I had researched on: Anxiety, (anxiety attacks) Cyclothymia, SPS, (maybe ADHD) & PMDD. I feel better knowing, but life’s not easy. And still many don’t understand. I’m training my dog to be a service dog. Which has done wonders for Me. I don’t have medication currently. (Fish oil, Flo vitamins (most currently.) everything is new so I’m taking one step at a time. I wish life was better. But it’s the life I have. I want to learn and help others too. I hope to find like persons with these things!

@Katharina no you can pretty much start right away! I think it just takes a bit to respond because users have to go out of their way to actively search through tags!

hey!! I too have anxiety, pmdd, and spd!! hydroxyzine has helped with physical symptoms of panic attacks for me, and I just started taking Yaz in July for pmdd!! this has all been recent diagnoses for me as well besides spd, and having a label for the way that you feel can be very helpful. there are ups and downs through the process definitely, but it’s all about learning what works best for you, even if it takes time and trying different things. my messages are open anytime if you want to talk!! ❤️‍🩹

Congratulations on getting your diagnosis! I felt liberated and optimistic for the first time in a long time when I got mine. Like you, I basically knew my diagnoses before I even got evaluated. Sometimes I feel like I wear a mask around others or in public, and when I get home I'm back to my truest self. I used to wish I lived alone so no one could see these differences and I could just wither away in my own toxic routines, but I realized I needed more social interactions, to be out in nature, and doing things that gave me purpose, to feel whole. It's a struggle everyday, through all the pain and anxiety, but I've come a long way and I'm excited to share my journey with likeminded individuals on this app! Thanks for sharing your story, my messages are always open if you want to talk!
