I’ve just turned 75 and have dealt with the chronic pain of fibromyalgia and interstitial cystitis for my entire adult life. At this stage, I find that giving up the desire to be rid of the pain is very freeing. I keep a gratitude journal, every day recording at least 5 things for which I am thankful. I meditate several times a day which enables me to avoid becoming engulfed in the pain. While it is always there in varying degrees, I can train my mind to focus beyond it. Finally, I do something for someone else every day-write a note to a friend in need, call someone who is isolated, volunteer for our local friendly visitor program. Each night I read something uplifting before bed.-Betty

Tylenol…
I find Tylenol the most effective! When I feel pain I take 1 gr ( usually two pills of 500) 3 times a day for 2-3 days and it really helps! I don’t understand why Creakybones can’t take Yylen.

CBD. There’s many different ways you can use it.
I have a hard time. Can’t take Tylenol or Advil. I do though sometimes.
I turned 60 and it’s bad enough dealing with pain. I don’t know how I will survive 70.
