I think I have borderline personality disorder not bi polar. How did you get diagnosed? I am just tryjng to deal with like constant pain in my mind.

      I took online quizzes and then brought it up with my therapist. She ended up diagnosing me. If you present doctors with your results from online diagnostic tests they are sometimes more willing to diagnose.

          @cupcake123 there is a sister to mania called hypomania. It's like mania, but less severe. It is common in people (like myself) with bipolar II.
